Durable products for easy green living
|
Inspiration for an easy green lifestyleA young family, we strive to live in a sustainable way, with an eye for both the greenery in our own environment as well as for nature in the rest of the world.
That means we're constantly looking for well-made designs that help make our everyday greener and easier. Whatever we can't find, we make. |
Here's how we work
House of Thol products are made to be used every day.
In our designs, we use contemporary techniques in combination with sustainable materials and artisan production methods. |
By working together, we can offer the complete design-process: from research, concept development and visualization to prototyping, technical product development and packaging design.

the team
Thomas Linssen (1982, Nijmegen) graduated in 2006 from the Design Academy Eindhoven and consecutively started Studio ThoL for privately commissioned interior projects.
Thomas received worldwide acclaim for his Evolution Bathtub and collaborated with designers and labels such as Droog design and Joris Laarman Lab. He is a product design teacher at the Rotterdam Willem de Kooning Academy one day a week. With his love for materials, construction and experimenting, Thomas can usually be found in the workshop or behind his computer working in SolidWorks. He loves building prototypes and making models, ever working towards the ultimate design. |
Jana Flohr (1982, Loon op Zand) studied product design at the Utrecht School of Arts and Middlesex University London.
She interned at Karim Rashid Inc. in New York and the Royal Dutch Institute in Rome. Jana was one of the founding members of Groene Honden and started her own studio after graduating early 2007, focussing on jewelry- and product design, as well as interactive projects for public space and educational design projects. An experienced office manager in the design world, Jana is the one responsible for management and communications as well as all House of Thol online activities. Jana is a keen researcher and concept developer, and loves to be particular about graphic design. |
